Playing badminton is actually fun!

Recently, my husband kemaruk main badminton. Siap beli racket baru. Baguslah kan. Sebagai isteri yang solehah patuh pada suaminya, aku pon join lah sekali. Ada orang tu dah belikan racket untuk kita, kita main lah kan. Takkan nak simpan racket tu buat perhiasan pulak.

My husband said, he wants this thing become a ritual. Every Friday night, main badminton. Well, we'll see how it goes. Jangan awal² ni jer bersemangat lebih.

Yang bestnya, hobi baru husband ni jugak mendapat sambutan hangat dari member² beliau. Ramai jugak turun last Friday main badminton sama² we all. Meriah sikit bila main badminton ramai² ni. Geng JSA pon ada jugak. Boleh bersenam buang² lemak² terkumpul ni kan? Hehe.

Last week, we booked the court for only 2 hours. Tu pon dah tercungap² aku main. Sejak kerja ni aku memang jarang giler bersukan. Well, dekat Nigeria pon aku main tennis bila aku ada dekat camp jer. Kalau aku pergi offshore, tak dapat nak la nak main tennis. Dekat rumah ni ada jugak racket tennis tapi...ermm..cam biasa la sakit malas aku ni menjadi². So bila my husband dah semangat nak main badminton ni, aku pon boleh lah beriadah sekali.

Gaya jer lebih. Tapi shuttle cock tu asyik tak kena racket aku jer. Ker aku yang tak reti main badminton?

Pasangan regu paling mantap seantero dunia. Enough said.

Mereka² yang berada di tempat kejadian.

Kerajaan asyiklah kempen 'Majulah sukan untuk Negara'. Tapi as a Malaysian citizen korang sokong tak kempen tu? For me, it is not only for the country, it is also for yourself!

I wish I have more than 24 hours!

Aku kalau balik rumah jer mesti blog ni akan jadi macam anak terbiar tau...bila dah sentiasa busy dengan anak sendiri, memang kurang sikit masa untuk diri sendiri (eh macam rhyme pulak)...Most of my time at home will be occupied dengan aktiviti di rumah with my family..Bukan tak nak meng'update' tapi setiap kali mood nak update datang dah duduk depan laptop then suddenly mesti hati ni selalu rasa tak senang and nak check balik tengok apa yang anak aku tengah buat..selalu tau macam tu..end up blog ni memang tak ber'update'..

Mesti ada yang cakap, eleh ko anak baru sorang dah kecoh..tu ade blogger anak 2-3-4 still jer boleh update blog tetiap hari..weh aku memang salute la dekat dieorang yang anak dah 2-3 ni boleh update blog hari²..some of them tu dah la berkerja..tapi never fail to update blog with new entry almost everyday..for instant kak merah kita..the infamous blogger..okay maybe anak dia dah besar² kan tapi still la they need her attention..I memang adore you kak red!!..sometimes I wonder how on earth they could do such things..or maybe I'm the one who is lazy?

Tapi dalam masa aku sibuk² tu, semalam aku sempat pergi buat facial..itu pon after my husband bising² tengok muka isteri dia dah macam ladang penternakan jerawat...hahaha..noo lah....of course la dia tak cakap straight to the point yang muka aku banyak jerawat but suddenly he came up with this line " Sayang..you dah lama tak pergi facial kan?..ni adik² ada dekat rumah boleh dieorang tengok² kan Emir while you go do your facial" Masa tu aku pon rasa pelik, dia tiba-tiba concern sangat pasal facial appointment aku..Pastu terus pergi tengok muka sendiri dekat cermin, lantas hatiku berkata "I really do need a facial treatment"..terus call Asterspring set appointment semalam..

Memang dah lama sangat tak pergi buat facial, since my last facial appointment was..wait I forgot..I think it was 4 months ago kot..sampaikan..last time aku balik, I was so busy with packing and unpacking (we were moving to our new house)...furthermore, it was Raya when I was at home last time..super duper busy!! So after awhile not pampering myself, yesterday facial session was such a blast!! rasa sangat relax and aku memang enjoy la..terus set another appointment next week..hehe..

I personally think as a women, no matter how busy you are, you guys really need to find sometimes to ease yourself..especially for those yang dah ada anak tu..jangan jadikan "sibuk dengan anak" sebagai alasan untuk tiada masa for yourself (peringatan untuk diri sendiri jugak)..biarlah hanya untuk beberapa jam..you guys really need it! Buat lah anything yang boleh buat you all feel relax and happy..do massage or facial..watch your favorite movie or read book...barulah diri tu nampak sentiasa muda and ceria!!

Breast Feeding vs. Bottle Feeding

Ever since I was pregnant I already set my mind that I'm going to breastfeed my son as long as possible..well it's good enough if I could breastfeed him until he reaches 2 years old..but with my case that I'm working thousand miles from my son makes me feel down and sad when I think a bout it..yeaa I know I still can pump and store 'em for 6 weeks times but you know that babies can know his/her mother smell..how can I say it..it's like every individual has our own unique smell..I guess it's body odor..am I right?!

So last time during antenatal class I asked a question to the speaker which happen to be my O&G doctor..She said I still can continuously breastfeed my baby even thou I'm away from my baby for a long time..I don't really need to stop breastfeeding my son..how?! What I need to do is when I'm away I still need to stimulate my breast so that my breast can still produce milk by the time I meet my baby back..When I'm away my baby can still drink my breast milk but with a bottle (errmm..I need to train Emir from now!)..but she said this thing really needs patience to make it happen..I hope that my baby will be okay with this..sian anak ibu..

Here I want to share with all new mothers what I found something interesting from the internet while I was googled about breastfeeding..(taken from here)

To breastfeed your baby or not. Most women probably have very definitive views on the merits and benefits of breast feeding a baby vs bottle feeding, and many women will likely have been influenced by what they have seen and read, by their culture and undoubtedly by their family and friends. The breast feeding vs bottle feeding debate is a very emotive topic with advocates on both sides of the fence vehemently defending their positions. One thing is clear however and that is that, in the majority of cases, health professionals the world over would recommend breast feeding over formula feeding where ever possible.

Of course, not all women will be able to breast feed their baby, and so the decision will have been made already for them, and some women may find that although they started out breast feeding their baby, they are unable to continue to do so for any number of reasons (chronic discomfort, lack of milk etc.).

At the end of the day, despite the protestations from either side of the fence, there is no right way or wrong way when it comes to the breast feeding vs bottle feeding debate as both have their advantages and disadvantages, some of which we’ll explore now:

Advantages of breast feeding:

• Undoubtedly mankind has found it difficult, if not impossible, to improve on Mother Nature in many facets of our lives, and breast milk is no different. A mother’s breast milk therefore has all the nutrients, vitamins, and, probably most importantly, the anti-infection antibodies that the newborn baby requires to get a good start in life.

• Breast fed babies have fewer infections and illnesses according to a whole host of studies that have been published. This is not to say of course that all breast fed babies are healthy, and that all formula fed babies are at an obvious disadvantage, but, taken as a group, breast fed babies tend to suffer from fewer medical problems than their formula-fed counterparts.

• There is also an acknowledged closer bond between the baby and the mother when breast feeding. The warmth of the mother’s breast coupled with the skin to skin contact helps to provide a comfortable and safe environment for the child that is simply impossible to replicate with a bottle.

• There are a number of studies that suggest that breast feeding is beneficial for the mother in the areas of weight control and even as a cancer preventative.

• While formula milk certainly provides the infant with a good range of necessary vitamins and other nutrients that are needed for the infant’s development, a mother’s breast milk simply has everything that the child needs in one convenient package.

• Mother’s milk is more easily digested by the infant than formula milk. Remember that a baby’s digestive system is still somewhat immature, so it is much easier for the baby to break down and absorb the minerals and nutrients contained in mother’s milk over formula milk. Because breast milk is easier to digest, your baby will suffer less from constipation and diarrhoea.

• Mother’s breast milk reflects what the mother eats, and the taste of breast milk is often affected by the types of foods that the mother has recently eaten. This provides the baby with subtle differences in the taste of the breast milk and, as they say, variety is the spice of life.

• Breast feeding is free and the milk comes in a convenient, easy to carry, container! While saving money should not in any way solely influence your decision to breast feed or not, there’s no escaping the fact that breast feeding can save parents significant amounts of money over the first few months of a baby’s life, and is infinitely more convenient. Breast feeding is also much more convenient insofar as there is no need to clean bottles, warm the milk or any of the other activities associated with bottle feeding and there is very little danger of the food running out.

Disadvantages of breast feeding:

• Not all mothers feel comfortable with the concept of breast feeding from the start. Many mothers need time to grow into the role and to master the techniques for comfortable breast feeding. As a side note, there is nothing wrong with this, and it is important that mothers who aren’t comfortable breast feeding take their time and go at their own pace. Bottle feeding will provide a good alternative until the mother is ready to breast feed.

• Undoubtedly breast feeding is more demanding physically for the mother than bottle feeding. Factor in to this that the baby may require feeding every two or three hours and for some women the physical effort can take a toll on their own well-being.

• Pain. Small babies have an astonishing ability to suck with great force which can take many mothers by surprise. This can lead to sore breasts (in some cases bleeding) and a great deal of discomfort for the mother.

• Because breast milk is easier to digest for the baby, it is often the case that the baby will want (or need) to eat more frequently than if they were bottle fed. In turn this can lead to more diaper

• Self-consciousness. While some mothers have absolutely no problem with breast feeding in public, or semi-public, places others are not so comfortable with the idea. The decision to breast feed will often mean that both mother and baby will have to ‘dine out’ in some less-than-ideal locations and it might take a while for some women to overcome any embarrassment or self-consciousness.

• Lifestyle. For many women, getting pregnant in the first place meant a change of lifestyle and the imposition of restrictions (limited tea or coffee, no smoking, no alcohol etc.). If you decide to breast feed then these restrictions should remain in place as long as the baby is breast fed.

Masalah berat badan..

As usual, after being pregnant mesti berat badan susah nak turun..The last berat badan before I delivered Emir was 68.8 kg..remind you that before I got pregnant my weight was 48 kg yerr..So there's 20.8 kg has been added to my body..Then when I delivered Emir, Emir was 3.42 kg..and I know that my umbilical cord was not that heavy plus amniotic fluid semua tu of course tidak la berape nak berat sangat kan..So kemanekah berat2 itu semua pergi..semesti nyer menjadi LEMAK kan!!

Right now, I consume Herbalife..introduce by my sister..so far nampak ade progression la..mase I balik rumah from hospital lepas delivered..I timbang 60 kg..so kire almost 9 kg kurang...so I ade more less 12 more kg to get rid of..ermmmm...itu adalah satu cabaran bagi saye yerr...

Owhh..back to Herbalife..after I consume Herbalife, I mean after 27 days confinement period ni..berat I sudah turun kepade 56 kg!! Good improvement la kan...Right now my target is to get my body shape back...I mean even tho you lose weight, it doesn't matter at all if you don't get back your body shape kan???

So, let's work out!!!

Futsal Tournament

My husband really loves to play futsal..The other day he registered to join a tournament organized by Olak Lempik Sport Center located closed to KLIA...It wasn't a first time for my husband to join a tournament like this..Even thou he knew there's quite impossible to be a first prize winner but the enthusiasm spirit in him that made me proud..A day before the tournament he and his brothers and sisters and also me did some fitness to be ready for the next day tournament..At first I wonder if I could follow them because of my condition (8 months pregnancy) but when I think again it's actually a good exercise for me and maybe it could help me in labor later..Instead of jogging I was walking around the park..So that nice evening we went to Putrajaya recreation park..The park is so beautiful and you can see a nice view of Putrajaya from there...

My husband and his brothers did warming down after one round jog...

Aksi lompat bintang...seronok sangat la tu..

On that big day, we all woke up early because we need to register before 9 a.m....I made some breakfast for them and we all together drove to Olak Lempik..We arrived there around 8.00 a.m..We thought we were quite early but surprisingly there's a lot of people came earlier than us..So after registered we searched for a spot for us to sit and put our bags..Owhh..I forgot to tell you guys that they named their team after my name..hehehe...I'm honored!!

During the competition but the team played in court wasn't our team..

Basically in the competition like this we are divided in group..In each group has like 3-4 groups depending how many teams register in this competition..So in our case we are in Group K which has 3 groups in it...We had to played with these team to determine which team is the winner of the team and qualified to play in the next level...We are so lucky to be a winner of the group but unfortunately we lost in the first game for the next level...hmm..what to do takde rezeki la..Never mind we play for fun!!!

We are the winner of the group..yeay!!

We went back home at 5 p.m. and everybody were so tired and happy..We end up slept when we reached home...Majulah sukan untuk negara!!
