I am really craving for this now.....No..no..I am not pregnant...Kenapa kalau kita mengidam mesti orang nak relate dengan pregnancy...Orang yang tak pregnant tak boleh mengidam ker??

Masa mula² my sister introduced this food to me, I was a bit reluctant to try sebab kalau tengok secara luaran memang nampak kurang menyelerakan..tapi my sister insisted me to try it..she said 'there's no harm for you to try..just one bite and believe me you will like it..'..She's right the moment I put this food into my mouth..I terus jatuh cinta dengan makanan ni..=P..I tak tau la kalau this food ada jual anywhere else sebab I tau dekat Jusco supermarket sure ada..I've never failed buying it kalau singgah ke Jusco..It's available in 3 choices of stuffing Cheese ham, octopus and prawn...my favorite is Octopus (Kecuq ayaq liuq I while typing this entry ni..)...

Lagi 7 weeks baru boleh makan makanan ni...lama nya nak kena tunggu....=(..

Macaroni Chicken Bolognese, anyone??

When my son entering 12 months, making homemade food for him is a lots of fun! After months of pureeing, mashing and carefully introducing new foods, making food for him now become a little easier.

Normally if I was at home, I will try my best to prepare homemade food for Emir. In some rare cases, like if we were out for vacation, we will try to search any restaurant which served porridge. Emir memang tak minat langsung dengan baby cereal yang bancuh2 tu..I've tried to give him once and it ended up fully pack until it reached expiring date. So memang no other options la..

The other day, when we were out to do groceries, I was looking for spaghetti and I saw a packet of macaroni. I remembered that my late grandma pernah masak macaroni with chicken soup and fed one of my little cousin (I reckon her age was around 1 year ++ at that time). So I decided to make macaroni for Emir but instead of chicken soup, I tukar sikit recipe tu jadi Macaroni Chicken Bolognese..:P

Here's the easy peasy recipe to make the simple yet delicious Macaroni Chicken Bolognese:

1/2 carrot, chopped
Broccoli (cut the stems)
Tomato paste/puree
One cup of macaroni (you can add more as you like)
Chicken breast

Cook the macaroni and carrot together and bring to the boil. Meanwhile, steam broccoli and chicken breast until it becomes soft (wait for about half an hour) and later minced them.


Preheat the cooking pot then pour the tomato puree and stir a bit. Add minced broccoli and chicken breast and cook for a few minutes.


Drain the macaroni (and chopped carrot) and place it into the cooking pot and stir for a 2 minutes until all the ingredient are blended together.

Walla! ready to be served to your little customer..:P Ibu dia pon join makan sekali..

Thailand's Cowboy??

My first thought before I entered this restaurant was "It's just another typical Coffee Shop and served western foods.." Being me, I more prefer to eat rice and lauk2 during lunch and this restaurant not really up to my liking..Then my husband insisted to check the menu displayed in front of the restaurant..I was surprised to discover that they are not only serving coffee and typical western food but there's also eastern food like fried rice and various kind of noodles. I was suddenly changed my mind and said to my husband "okay, lets give it a try!" The main reason just simply they also served Tom Yum Goong (my favorite!)..

Black Canyon is originated from Thailand (that's explained why they served Tom Yum) and was established in 1993. Other than their famous coffee, Black Canyon also offers an extensive food menu combines Western and Eastern favorites like fried rice and noodles and also Thai specialties tom yum, som tam etc. Black Canyon has few franchised open in Malaysia too! The one that I visited is in Alamanda, Putrajaya.

As the name clearly stated "Black Canyon Coffee", Black Canyon's excellent reputation is based on serving coffees of the highest quality, with the best aroma and taste, made from 100% fresh coffee beans imported from around the world, as well as those grown in Thailand under Royal patronage.

Because I insisted to eat rice, we opted white rice and some lauk2 along with it. Fried chicken with cashew nut and stuff omelet..Yum yum!

Tadaaa! My all time favorite 'Tom Yum Goong'..So sedappppppp! Like the one I tasted in Bangkok during my last trip there. Makan sampai licin I hirup kuah tu..

The drink was not that bad thou..I had a tough time to decide which drink I wanted to order. I was like "eh nak yang ni la..jap2 tukar yang ni la.." hehe my husband tengok pon geleng kepala..At first I wanted to tasted their coffee then I changed to Tropical tea sebab tengok dalam menu and sangat tempting..For hubby Black Canyon Iced Coffee..Dapat la jugak rasa coffee kat situ..

For this little boy, I packed homemade porridge..He was attempting to suap sendiri but banyak yang spilled compared to yang masuk dalam mulut..He almost poked his nose dengan plastic fork tu..*Sigh*

In the end ayah took over to feed this little rascal..Tu pon menjerit2 nak pegang spoon sendiri..

Out of ten I can give 8.5 to Black Canyon Coffee..Price range is so reasonable and I would definitely come to eat here again! Suddenly terasa lapar while typing this entry..=P

Super Crunchy Pizza!

Every Saturday night, NTC Camp (the place which I'm currently staying) is having a "Pizza Day" in which we will be having pizza for dinner..There's also a "Burger Day" on Wednesday..So, the best part on "Pizza Day" is we will have an option to choose whatever toppings we like on our own pizza..Everyone will have their own version of pizza..Pizza ni homemade bukan Pizza yang buat dekat kedai..So memang sangat sedap!

My favorite is bahagian crust tu..memang super crunchy! I can finish off the whole pizza by myself..hehe

My choice for toppings: chicken, mushroom, onion and extra CHEESEEEEE....gemuk la saya kalau everyweek makan pizza macam ni....

Today I teringin and mengidam sangat nak makan nasi berlauk gulai ketam and tomyam ayam...tapi diriku ini sangat malas nak masak and bahan-bahan pulak tak mengcukupi (alasannnnn!!)..Untuk mengubati kerinduan nak makan masakan melayu asli I masak la meggi Tomyam + telur 2 biji...In this period of time memang meggi pon rasa nikmat makan...

My mom ada bekalkan sambal ikan bilis tapi sebab tinggal sikit and nak budget bekalan sambal ikan bilis mencukupi sampai hujung bulan ni, kena divert nafsu makan kepada bekalan makanan yang lain..kedekut kan I...hehehe

Visiting In-Laws

We just came back from Sungai Petani yesterday night..This time trip to SP seemed so quick and took us only 45 minutes...hehe sebab we all naik flight..at first my husband nak drive balik SP but suddenly changed his mind bila hubby dah calculate cost naik kereta and naik flight to SP lebih kurang sama..Actually bagus jugak naik flight sebab on Saturday tu my hubby was a bit tired after he was helping his officemate pindah kan barang-barang from office lama masuk office baru..One more thing advantage naik flight ni sebab Emir Faiz memang cepat sikit tidur and less cranky..Almaklum la anak bujang I tu dah besar so dia tak nak sangat duduk atas baby seat kalau naik kereta and kesudahannya dia duduk dengan ibu...

One thing I suka balik SP apart of visiting my in-laws is because of FOODssss!! Siapa yang tak suka makan sedap kan?? Eh ke I jer yang suka?? Hehe..Dekat SP memang banyak sangat tempat makan yang best-best..and the best part is good food comes with reasonable price..I LIKE!! Paling rasa worth it-nya balik SP bila dapat makan laksa dekat warung-belakang-CS..I don't know nama makcik jual laksa tu so I think that's the best way to describe nama warung dia...Kalau di lihat condition warung tu memang tak expect langsung la ada makanan sedap dekat situ sebab warung tu tersangat la sempoi...tapi bila dah makan mesti mahu lagi!! Sampai my hubby pon kata memang berbaloi balik SP lepas makan laksa makcik ni..ditambah pula dengan cendol pulut dia yang mengancam..perghh meleleh air liur den ni haaa....bukan orang melayu jer yang makan dekat situ tapi orang cina pon singgah sekali...memang terbaik la...

Second day pulak, awal-awal pagi dah bangun and after breakfast we all pergi Village Mall sebab ada PC Fair dekat situ..But PC Fair tersangat la kecik and sekali pusing jer dah cover semua booth..beli thumb-drive jer dekat situ and sempat la tengok SLR idaman kalbu I Canon 7D..bila la I nak memiliki nya...sabar mira banyak lagi benda yang lebih priority...tapi tu la masalah nya bila dah kumpul duit mesti ada model baru yang menggoda I tau...I hate this kind of feeling....

Then sebelah petangnya pulak kami ke Penang sebab nak hantar my BIL balik asrama..sempat la pujuk my hubby pergi Queensbay Mall sebab mak orang ni belum pergi lagi...It is just another mall la nothing special..dalam pada "nothing special" tu jugak sempat jer I shopping sakan dekat Forever 21 bila keluar kedai my husband dah geleng kepala..Sorry hubby shopping is in my blood!..boleh gitu...hehehe..That night we all dinner dekat Radix Chinese Oriental Cuisine...It is a restaurant which offer chinese food but this one is the HALAL one..memang sedap..we ordered Siakap masak nyonya, Chicken with mango salad, Tomyam Campur, Fried Bean curd (my favorite!) and Fried Mix-Vege...memang boleh bagi 2 thumbs-Up la!

On the third day just spend masa dekat rumah and that night we flew back to KL the hectic city..Me and my husband dah plan on becoming cuti sekolah nak balik SP lagi and thinking of bawak adik-adik pergi mandi-manda dekat Bukit Mera..anyone who already went to Bukit Merah you are welcome to give any comment about that place eh!

Heavenly Chocolate!!

Past few days, my husband wanted to send his watch to service center located at Menara Pan Global. We decided to take monorail since we were out from home almost 4 o'clock in the evening. Well, as you know massive traffic jammed in Kuala Lumpur will swing your mood away. Before that my husband had made some browsing regarding the road that we should headed and which station should we stop because bring Emir Faiz with us is not that easy plus with the crowd of people. According to my husband, we should stop at station Bukit Nanas but when we arrived it seems that we need to walk quite very far to reach that place and the weather was quite hot. Kesian pulak kat Emir Faiz. We walk a little to Pavillion in spite of walking quite far to Menara Pan Global.

That was my first time going to Pavillion. My husband has been here before. I was quite excited and happy in the same time because maybe I could make some shopping. But regardless of buying my stuff, I ended up buying Emir Faiz some cloths..*sigh*..Actually shopping dekat Pavillion is quite expensive juge..Emir Faiz punye pon I beli yang sale jer..

After walking and window shopping, we had our tea break or should I called chocolate break instead?~~ at Theobroma Chocolate Lounge!! The heaven of chocolate!!




Originating from Australia, Theobrama Chocolate Lounge made its debut in Malaysia by opening its first outlet in 1 Utama, followed by another outlet in Pavilion KL. As its name suggested, its signature product is nothing else but chocolates.

Looking at the menu, it has a huge range of chocolate filled, chocolate made and with chocolate products for you to choose from, while you chill out with your friends. Of course, you have the chocolate fondue thingy too, served with four different types of fruits to go along with the thick chocolate. As for the drinks, its nothing but chocolate-related.

I had Princess of Iceland, basically blended chocolate with chocolate shavings and powders and also chocolate ice cream on top of it. The side of the glasses are “decorated” with thick chocolate as well. We also had the chocolate fondue serve with four type of fruits, kiwi, strawberry, banana and orange. Soooo chocolate!!

If you wish to come to this place make sure you already take your lunch/dinner because your appetite for the day might just go down the drain after that. I felt really bloated and my tongue was kind of numb after I left the place.

Pussycat Dolls has been here before..

The place itself is really nice to sit down and talk some craps with your friends over a good cup of coffee or chocolate. Generally, it was still a pleasant experience in Theobroma Chocolate Lounge.

Juicy Shrimp!!

Have you ever taste a very juicy shrimps?? Well, if you don't you can come to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Restaurant & Market!!

Food is the hero at Bubba Gump Shrimp. They serve food that will make us wanna come again!! Their menu of course, features shrimp. But they also serve the best rib in town. So last few days me and my husband and of course with Emir went to Sunway Pyramid to buy some stuffs. We were always having a problem to select which restaurant each time we are at Sunway Pyramid. Not because it doesn't have Halal Food but because there's too many restaurant that offers good food!! While we're walking, I saw this very unique restaurant and I feel very tempting to step in. My husband said why not we have a try!!

The environment is so cozy and make you feel that you're not in shopping mall..We feel like we're near to the sea..seriously!! They have a very good services and all the waiters are very friendly..They have this some kind like sign board on the table which use for calling the waiter..if you decide to call the waiter you just need to flip the board which stated "Stop Forrest Stop" and when you've done with the waiter, the waiter will flip it back to "Run Forrest Run"..So we don't have to call the waiter which will may or may not distract other customers enjoying their food..You may have thought why they use the word "Forrest" here. Actually this restaurant is inspired by the 1994 Film Forrest Gump. Loads of Forrest Gump memorabilia is displayed on the walls, tables and everywhere else. On the table, you get a metal bucket with condiments and there's a ping pong bat with a menu. I found the ping pong bat amusing, since they attached a long chain to keep it from "walking away". =)

Talking about food, I had a Bucket of Boat Trash. It is served in quite a big portion which contains shrimps, lobster, fish fried and breaded and some home made chips and with lemon juicy dip. I chose Speckeled Strawberry for my drink..My hubby chose Bourbon Street Baramundi which is served with mashed potato (sangat sedap!!) and for drink he chose Jenny's Favorite. BTW, Baramundi is a type of fish...not to mention that the shrimps is so tasty!!

Jalan-jalan cari 'Nasi Ayam'

Last night we received an invitation from my hubby's aunt for dinner. Aunty Mar came to KL for a conference and she wanted to see her 'cucu' for the very first time. Aunty Mar lives in Kota Kinabalu together with my hubby's grandmother. So we had our dinner at Nasi Ayam Hainan located at Bukit Bintang.

At first we decided to take a monorail to go to Bukit Bintang to avoid a massive traffic over there. But since it was raining last night and we don't want to walk in the crowd with Emir together with us then we finally drove to get there. Lucky us the traffic was okay and we managed to reach there on time.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. My hubby has came here before and he said this restaurant offers the best Nasi Ayam in town. Yes, after eating it I can give 5 stars to Nasi Ayam Hainan..sangat sedap!! I couldn't manage to snap Nasi ayam's picture because the nasi ayam is so tempting sampaikan I tak sempat nak amek gambar yer..and Barlee Lime kat sini pon tip top!! We also ordered Sotong Sambal and Oyster baby Kailan..yum..yum...sedap!!My BIL had Hainan Fried Rice that also delicious...Next time we can come again!!

Yeah..I meet my dear shopping friend TOON!!! I really miss her...

Toon is my colleague + my ex-coursemate + my shopping mate..I met her when I was having a training course in France..I remembered the very first time we had a conversation, it was like no full stop!! We really click to each other..Shopping is her passion and so do I!! That's why we can get in together so quickly...She's from Thailand but she's working in Yangon, Myanmar.

Last Sunday she made a surprise call..I taught she was a stranger who got the wrong number..Then I was speaking Malay to her..The moment I recognized her voice when she said "Hey speak english!! (in her way of course)..I was screaming that I wasn't expect to have a call from her..She informed me that she's in Malaysia. She came down here to meet her boyfriend and to meet me!! I'm honored!!

There's another two friends also joined us since they knew Toon from job which they went together..We all together had dinner at Sudanese..The foods were so good and Toon also like it very much... But the meeting was so short because she has to catch a flight to Singapore that night..After all I really glad that you're here Toon...Really miss the moment when we were in Paris...

Sister day out

It's been a long time for me and my sister since we went out together..So yesterday I invited my sister to come to my house and had lunch after that we out to Jusco Bukit Tinggi..My hubby with his little bro and my little sis also join us to Jusco Bukit Tinggi..By the way it's huge!! sampai penat la kaki I berjalan with my sister..actually my sister also wanted to buy thumb drive for survinor but in a big amount..unfortunately we couldn't manage to buy it there plus it's quite expensive..Later on we went to Digital Mall located at Petaling Jaya..

I was like so surprised plus shocked (yelar suddenly stranger tegur kan..) pon jawab "ehh..takla..tu suami saye and die bukan mr photographer)..after that me and my sister pon ketawe terbahak2...we planned tak nak bagitau my husband but end up I told him jugak...bukan main die bproud lagi la..I think maybe because of his style made that stranger think he was a photographer..
