Yesterday before I went to bed, me and my husband had a conversation about masak lemak cili api..he said he really wants to eat ayam masak lemak cili api..I've never cook masak lemak cili api before..makan byk kali la!!hihi..So today I've decided to try it out...so my hubby punyer semangat, before he reached home, he dropped by at the shop to buy bahan2 nak masak...when he arrived I saw all the ingredient was ready..
Because I've never tried it before, I pon search internet to look up for the recipe..I found out that different people has different way of cooking especially when it comes to the ingredient..ade yang masukkan lengkuas la..and ade yang pakai daun kunyit and ade pulak yg x pakai..then finally I've decided to take the main ingredient yg penting and must have to cook masak lemak..and the rest I touched up sikit2 la...
Followed are the ingredient that I used to cook masak lemak cili api:
Recipe is suitable for 4 persons.
Bahan2 yang kene blend:
4 ulas bawang merah
4 ulas bawang putih
20 batang cili api hijau (kalau nak pedas lagi bubuh lebih)
1 inch halia
The rest:
1 batang serai (diketuk)
1/2 biji kelapa parut
beberapa ketul ayam
Sekeping asam keping
sedikit garam
Long bean (ikut sedap la nak masuk banyak or sikit)
Cara2 nak masak:
1) Tumis bahan2 blend tadi sampai naik bau.
2) Masukkan half of santan yang diperah. Tunggu sampai pekat sikit then masukkan the rest of santan.
3) Wait until santan mendidih and pekat sikit baru masukkan serai and asam keping.
4) Masukkan 1 teaspoon of serbuk kunyit (if pakai kunyit hidup jangan masuk banyak2 la) sebagai pewarna.
5) Then baru masukkan ayam and long bean tadi. Last sekali baru masukkan sikit garam.
It turned out that my hubby tambah nasi 2 kali..hehe..sedap la tu agak nyer..next time I nak improvise dengan tukar ayam kepade crab or udang..Unfortunately I terlupe nak snapped gambar..next time I masak lagi I tangkap gambar yer..Selamat mencube!!
