Unintentional Outing with BFF(s)

I really had a long day today..early in the morning Emir woke me up with one bite on my cheek..Pagi2 dah kacau Ibu tido budak kecik ni..I had no choice but to wake up because I smelt something not nice and had to bring Emir straight to the toilet..(I guess you guys know what I mean)..=)

Actually reason untuk keluar hari ini was to go to company office in Menara Rohas Perkasa untuk endorsekan document then lunch and balik (ni reason I bagi kat encik untuk suami untuk keluar) but plan changed suddenly after my BFF sent SMS to me saying that "Mira..aku mimpi pasal Emir smalam..ko kat maner?"..I terus straight away called her..Then I was thinking why not I ask her out since I pon dah lame tak jumpe die..Oohh..BTW her name's Nana..

Off we go to Rohas Perkasa..sempat la jumpe my colleagues yang keje kat situ..had chit-chat a little bit then terus pegi fetch Nana dekat umah die..Nana ni my BFF sejak sekolah rendah lagi..We all sangat rapat since then and our family house pon satu taman jer...kire nyer rumah Nana tu dah jadi macam my second house la...selalu jer buat muke tak malu pegi lunch kat rumah die..hehe..I miss those time..

Okay dah melalut2 plak ni..nak cerite lain pegi cerite lain plak..Back to our topic..First plan nak pegi KLCC then Nana cakap die dah naik muak pegi KLCC (sebab she did intership dengan Petronas) and we changed our route to One Utama since I pon dah lame tak pegi saner..Sampai2 jer we all tengok sangat banyak kereta..I pon pelik..dah la weekday then tengahari pulak tu, dieorang ni tak kerja ker?? Then I teringat pulak yang malam ni Christmas Eve..orang take half day arini...No wonder la ramai giler orang..Pusing nak mencari parking jer took almost 45 minutes..Tension giler!! Last2 I dah geram I parking jer depan kereta orang then I put my phone number so that owner kereta berkenaan will call me kalau die nak keluar...but in the same time I prayed that die tak call I sampai I nak balik...hehe..memang betul pon die tak call..shopping sakan la tu..


Sebab kami semua tak lunch lagi and mase on the way nak masuk parking nampak advertisment TGI Friday yang sangat besar dan menggoda jadi harus la ke TGI untuk memenuhi selere biawak kami..hehe..masih terase kesedapan Mac and Cheese..sedap nyer!!


While we were eating Nana got a msg from my other BFF Nisa yang nak join we all skali..bagus juge dapat jumpe Nisa si tilam Vono Emir..hehe..Emir memang suke kat Nisa..After penat meronde2 and had a second round makan2 session kat Kluang station we all pon balik..dalam sibuk berjalan window shopping tu sempat jugak la meng'grab' kasut crocs yang sangat super comfy and very worth buying..

Hacchummm!!!aish...bersin plak..dah berabuk dah blog ni...hehehe..lame sangat tuan blog ni menyepikan diri..bukan tak nak blog lagi but been busy with anak and suami each time I come back to Malaysia..then the urge to blog again suddenly appear after bace blog2 orang yang banyak cerite2 menarik..why not I share cerite2 menarik I plak kan...rindu jugak nak berblog actually..=)

Okay, where should I start...I start with Emir la since I nampak die dulu depan mate I ni..tengah tido nyenyak in front of me..Emir has turned 11 months last 2 days..dah nak setahun dah anak Ibu...Lets see Emirs' progression so far..

- dah semakin active..memanjat and merangkak dengan full speed..
- dah pandai cakap..i mean baby language..but ade one word yang Emir cakap me and my husband faham is "NAK"..for example when I eat something he will come to me and say "Nak" sambil hulur tangan and buat muke comel..then when he refuses something he will say "aaNak"..sounds like tak nak..
- ade tande2 macam nak berjalan dah..but die still belum confident untuk stable kan badan die while he's standing alone..
- he got 4 batang gigi..2 kat belah atas and 2 kat belah bawah....so handsome when he laugh or smile nampak gigi..
- he can't call me IBU yet...my mom said baby around his age susah skit nak pronounce IBU, BONDA, UMI..according tu my mom la..takpe yang penting Emir kenal siape ibu die..take your time sweetheart..

A week...a month...a year...

Hi all..

After a week becomes a month I've planned to post recent updates about my life but I couldn't find even one quality hour for me to write anything in this blog. Sorry to keep you guys waiting (if there's anyone waiting for my updates..=P). I've been busy with Emir and being a wife that once in a while be a home, make me become more busier with house chores and stuffs..

Emir turns 6 months last week and he becomes more aggressive and active. The time that he will be restless is when he's sleeping. I need to monitor him 24/7 and now he's crawling and the next time I know he will be climbing and walking..how time flies!!

So for the last one month I've been busy taking care of my son, doing house chores, went to Bangkok for a short vacation, invite my friends to my house for house-warming and last but not least shopping, shopping and shopping!!!

And now I'm away AGAIN from my husband and my son..I wonder until when this situation will be..I always think that somehow I need to count my blessing because I still have my work and stop complaining about it..but I someday I need to put a stop of it, isn't?...I pray that one fine day will come soon..

Tomorrow I will go to the desert and have mission to be completed. I will update about my life from there. I have few pending post that I will put in the next entry soon..funny thing is I have wrote about it but I'm keep writing it halfway..I need to finish writing my post and post it here..

Pulang ke Tanah Melayu

Pheww..Finally I got my days off after almost 7 weeks being far from my love ones...I will depart from Libya tomorrow afternoon and expected to arrive in Malaysia the next day afternoon..I really can't wait to put my feet to the land which I called Tanah Melayu..

Things that I'm going to do when I arrive:

• Kiss Emir Faiz gazillion times!!
• Find a good food to eat.
• Get back home and have a good shower..
• and last but not least....secret that I never tell...hahaha..

Okay people..I will continue writing when I'm at home..dah lame tak update about my Emir Faiz kan..will do soon..

Bahasa Jiwa Bangsa

Bersesuaian dengan tajuk di atas saya akan menggunakan Bahasa Melayu sepenuhnya untuk entri kali ini.Ya, saya tahu penulisan Bahasa Melayu saya tidak begitu bagus tapi saya cuba ya.

Setelah beberapa tahun berkerja di dalam industri yang saya ceburi ini, saya merasakan kebanyakan rakyat Malaysia adalah tidak ambil peduli atau dalam perkataan yang lebih mudah difahami ialah mengambil mudah dengan bahasa kita iaitu Bahasa Melayu termasuklah diri saya sendiri. Kenapa saya berkata atau berfikiran begitu adalah kerana saya sendiri juga begitu acuh tidak acuh dengan bahasa melayu saya sendiri.

Saya mempunyai banyak kenalan kerja dan kebanyakkan mereka adalah berbangsa arab dan yang lain-lain datang dari Rusia, Perancis, Itali, Brazil, Venezuela dan macam-macam negara lagi. Mereka-mereka ini begitu kagum dengan bahasa mereka dan saya merasa sedikit cemburu kerana apabila mereka berjumpa dengan rakan-rakan sebangsa mereka akan menggunakan bahasa mereka sepenuhnya (maksud saya disini, mereka tidak mencampur-aduk dengan bahasa inggeris) berbeza dengan orang-orang Malaysia disini, apabila kami berkomunikasi kami akan mencampur-aduk bahasa melayu dan bahasa inggeris (kami = rakyat malaysia di Libya dan saya sendiri).

Saya tidak pasti sama ada anda semua perasan atau tidak, jika kita berkomunikasi dengan bangsa lain, contohnya dengan orang indonesia, kita (bangsa melayu) akan terikut-ikut dengan loghat mereka. Sama juga seperti jika kita berkomunikasi dengan bangsa lain seperti bangsa India dan Cina. Kita lebih mudah mengikut loghat mereka. Adakah kita bangsa melayu malu untuk menggunakan bahasa kita sendiri atau kita semua tidak merasa cukup bangga dengan bahasa kita?? Jawapan nya ada pada diri kita sendiri.

Di sini saya tidak mengatakan bahawa bahasa inggeris itu tidak penting ya. Saya sendiri menggunakan bahasa inggeris sebagai bahasa perantaraan ketika saya berkerja tapi setelah beberapa ketika saya merasa rindu untuk berkomunikasi dengan bahasa ibunda saya sendiri. :)..Sesetengah rakyat malaysia merasa bangga jika mereka dapat berkomunikasi dengan bahasa inggeris dengan lancar (begitu juga saya) sehingga kita alpa untuk memperbaiki bahasa kita sendiri..Terdapat juga sesetengah ibubapa yang tidak mahu langsung anak-anak mereka berkomunikasi dalam bahasa melayu mungkin mereka rasa bahasa melayu itu standard nya begitu rendah..:(

Jadi dikesempatan ini saya ingin mengingatkan kepada anda (sesiapa yang sudi membaca nukilan saya ini) dan kepada diri saya sendiri, tidak perlulah kita hendak mengagungkan bahasa inggeris kerana ianya tidak mencerminkan bangsa anda. Bahasa Jiwa Bangsa.

P.S. Saya rasa penulisan Bahasa Melayu saya bagus juga yaa...hehehe..

SOLD and without mercy

Normally when I'm about to go back to Libya I will make sure I have something to kill my time when I'm free be it books, movies or drama series. So this time I equipped myself with books since I don't have so much time (ewahh macam busy sangat kat umah..actually busy jage Emir) to download any movie. I brought along with 4 books and I want to share with you guys two of them. These two books really caught my attention and my motherly feeling towards my kid.

SOLD by Zana Muhsen

The first book is recommended by one of my friend. A book by Zana Muhsen is based on through story. Whole story is about a fifteen year old Zana Muhsen and her younger sister Nadia were living a normal teenage in Birmingham in a Muslim family. One day their strict father told them that they would be going on a six week holiday to the Yemen where they would experience white sandy beaches and camel racing. So, when she arrived with her father's friend, she was told that she and Nadia had been sold by their father into illegal marriages with two boys who lived in their village. Their lives turned into nightmares when they suddenly had to endure beatings, rape and childbirth at a very young age. Their in-laws forced the girls to write letters to their mother telling them that they were having wonderful holiday, but she soon found out why they were really in the Yemen. Somehow the girls got in touch with journalist Eileen MacDonald, who interviewed them and took photographs of the girls in their hostile environment. Their mother also got in touch with the authorities in the Yemen, who agreed that both marriages were illegal. Unfortunately, only Zana was able to escape and return to worldwide fame, and Nadia is still in the Yeman. However, Zana promised to try every possible way to remove her sister from her imprisonment.

Without Mercy by Miriam Ali

The continuation of 'Sold' is 'Without Mercy'. This book is written by Zana's mother. This book, by a loving mother telling each struggle she went through in finding her daughters. Although Zana managed to escape from the brutality in Yemen, there was still Nadia and her grandchildren. Miriam stood firm in her decision to seek help from as many parties as possible to rescue Nadia from her misery. Miriam showed her love through the ferocious struggle she made in the battles against modern slavery. This is a true first-hand story of how a mother fought, the anguish she was in and the tormented and awkward situations she had to face. Of course, these battles also offended many parties, including her ex-husband, the father of her two daughters who were sold to Yemen as child-brides. Then, the men who did the same to their children, the government officials and so on. Despites all these, Miriam never gave up.

After finish reading these two books, I felt so mad and angry with the father yang sanggup jual anak and yang lebih memalukan that he's MUSLIM. This man sangat memalukan umat Islam with his attitude. As a mother point of view, I think Miriam is very tough mother. I'm really proud after what she had done to get her daughters back.

I'm so proud of him..but mase die roll-over I wasn't there to give him support..=(..but I know that Emir is strong and good boy and he knew that I always love him even I'm not around..

Kaklong..I'm so happy for you..I remember mase kite kecik-kecik dulu pakai baju same, main same-same, tidur same-same..kene marah same-same...but now we have our own family..cepat nyer mase berlalu without we even realize it..

Keseorangan di tengah-tengah padang sahara

Hi all,

It has been a week I dekat tengah-tengah desert ni..After a week I dekat base in Tripoli, my manager assigned me to one job..and now I'm in the middle of nowhere..missing my son terribly...Internet dekat sini punyer la super-lembabness...rase macam nak campak jer laptop ni..because of that I tak boleh la nak update my blog selalu..

Mase I mula-mula sampai dekat rig ni I had been suffering from a bad allergic..bengkak-bengkak all over my body and sangat la gatal..and just for you to know dekat rig ni ade klinik kecik la (I don't think it looks like clinic) and to make it worst, the doctor is russian and he can't speak english!! goshh!! He can speaks arabic better than english tau..Nasib baik la a friend of mine teman kan and he spoke arabic with him and really tried to explain to the doctor about my condition..Doctor tu agak cute jugak la..*wink*...setelah bersusah-payah meng-explain dekat doctor tu tetibe doctor tu suruh baring..I memang dah suspens giler dah..dalam hati tertanye-tanyer kenape la tetibe si doctor ni soh baring pulak..rupe-rupenyer die nak inject I..I asked the doctor, is that necessary for me to get the injection...die kate injection tu untuk kurangkan rase gatal-gatal tu..It really suprised me that gatal-gatal dekat badan I memang hilang after kene jab tu..alhamdulillah..I think I've got that allergic because of weather kot and I don't think it is because of food..

Sekarang ni sand storm sangat teruk..sampai rase nak melayang badan I ni..pedih giler mate sebab pasir masuk banyak sangat..Tak boleh nak stay dekat luar lame-lame..after awhile kene masuk dalam lab cabin..memang mencabar sungguh!! But the best part is, setelah penat berkerja bile tengok gambar Emir terus rase hilang penat ni and tadi mase I chat with my husband, dapat tengok Emir live through webcam!! Best betul..rase macam nak masuk dalam laptop and cium die (wahh..macam la kecik sangat I ni..hehe)..

I might stuck with this job for another 3 weeks and start counting the days nak balik Malaysia..How I wish time flies very quickly!!..tapi dekat Malaysia biarla mase berlalu slow sebab I want to spend my time more with my son, my husband and my Family...

Owh ya..to Aida thanx for the award okay..Mira promise nanti bile free boleh letak award tu dekat blog..thanx again!!

After a long break..

Hi readers!!

Well..well..I just arrived in Libya last three days but didn't get a chance to sit and update my blog..quite busy right here and trying to adjust myself with my work..yelar dah 6 bulan duduk goyang kaki (yeker?!) kat rumah..=)

So sampai-sampai jer dekat Tripoli international airport the other day dah ade orang picked me up and went straight to guest house. Libya has not changed much since my last visit. Same jer...just ade satu shopping mall baru bukak kat Tripoli la..tu pon tak best sangat..

Malam tu pulak I've got invitation from one of Malaysian Family kat Tripoli untuk dinner sesamer..Actually I was quite tired from the long hours flight but demi nak makan nasi bersame ayam masak merah I gagahkan jugak diri ini untuk pergi..dah la besok nyer I have to work!!

Okaylaa..I dah mengantuk yang amat sangat ni..I'll continue later okay..

No more "the terminal" episode please!!

After being stranded the other day dekat Dubai, I telah merasekan sedikit serik and tak kan take any things regarding Visa and what not for granted..While I was writing this entry, I just landed safely in Dubai airport..Alhamdulillah..

Semalam I bertolak dari rumah quite early sebab nak hantar Emir Faiz dekat rumah my aunty close to KLIA..perasaan tinggalkan Emir Faiz dekat rumah my aunty tu memang tak terkate sedih nyer..but semalam I control jer..masuk dalam kereta melelh jugak la air mateku ini..dah la mase tu my aunty sambil dukung Emir and usher I pegi kat pintu, Emir boleh senyum comel plak kat I..lagi rase nak terburai air mate ni..sedih sangat la..cepat la mase berlalu!!!!

I doakan Emir tak banyak meragam in duration die stay with my aunty...be a good boy yer Emir??

Okayla..cerite pasal Emir banyak boleh menyebabkan I merase ingin mengalirkan air mate lagi..nanti dah sampai Libya I update lagi eh..

3 months Emir

How time flies very quickly and I don't even realize it..Emir Faiz just turned 3 months young last week..rase macam baru jer semalam lahirkan die..dah masuk 3 bulan dah anak ibu ni..I really miss every single moment with Emir..and lets see what Emir can do so far...

• dah pandai berborak in 'baby language'...ade one time tu me and my husband biarkan die dalam baby cot lepas we all dengar macam suare anak kucing..rupe-rupe nyer Emir Faiz tengah mengomel..cute sangat...sometimes tu die macam nak kite dengar ape yang die nak cakap and if we layan die mesti lagi lame die mengomel..
• dah pandai mengiring sendiri..ade la sekali due die pusing (menyiarap)..but tu pon ikut mood die..if die rase die tak penat die akan try sampai die pusing kalau die dah try banyak kali and tak berjaye die akan menangis la...
• kekerapan menyusu pon dah agak kurang compared to mase dua bulan pertama..i think maybe once he's breastfeeding, he'll suck quite big amount of breastmilk in one time..kalau dulu sekali menyusu sekejap but selalu..sekarang ni sekali menyusu lama but tak kerap..
• He'll rase geli2 bile I geletek die..maksud nyer deria2 dah mula activated..
• berjage malam pon dah kurang...lepas masuk dua bulan aritu Emir will wake up dalam sekali atau paling banyak pon dua kali la untuk menyusu..tapi die akan bangun dalam around pukul 7 pagi or time subuh..macam nak kejutkan me and my husband solat subuh gitu..and then he'll sleep back..
• suke sangat isap jari!! but my paed cakap jangan halang die sebab habit tu macam gifted and tak semua baby in his age dapat ability macam tu..so far I tak jumpe lagi article pasal ni..if anyone tau sile inform saye eh..at first I tot gusi die gatal..maybe I'll buy soothing gel for him later..
  
• kalau time breastfeed him, I tak boleh la nak berborak ke or tengok TV otherwise Emir akan stop sucking my breast and macam nak join me berborak or tengok TV...hehehe..
• Emir akan tido lebih lama if die tido dalam position menyiarap..but I kene selalu monitor la sebab takut die lemas ke ape..but Emir pandai adjust kepale die sampai die rase selesa..bijak2..

I think tu jer big development Emir so far...I always pray Emir membesar dengan sihat dan cergas..insyaAllah..okay jom kite enjoy gambar Emir Faiz!

As for me and my family we spent our holiday playing bowling and eat good food..But myself takde la rase best sangat dapat cuti arini because dah lame sangat cutikan..hikhik..

Where was I??

Wandering where am I going for the past few days?? what did I do during those days??

I was going for HOLIDAY in SABAH!!

He..he..he...Everything was very spontaneous..Actually my husband got an exhibition to attend that happened to be in Sabah..and since I don't have any plan to go and I'm quite free for the time being why not accompany my husband to Sabah, right??

Just for you to know, my husband has a few relatives that live in Sabah which is on his mother side..His "wan" and "tok wan" is staying in Sabah since his tok wan was serving the country and retired there...So kalau ke Sabah mestilah wajib we all stay dekat rumah wan..Rumah wan is located in Likas which near to Kota Kinabalu town..Plus wan masak sangat sedap remind me of my beloved arwah mak..rindu nyer dekat arwah mak..=(

Also joining us are my MIL and SIL..So that morning our flight was at 6 in the morning, we all woke up quite early..around 4ish in the morning..having a baby will double up my time to get ready..yelar mane nak siapkan my baby lagi nak mandi lagi..so I have to do it on one go jer..arrived at the airport around 5.30 am and terus pegi check-in..we departed to Sabah with Air Asia and knowing that Air Asia ni tak boleh lambat-lambat check-in otherwise bye-bye la..no refund ticket if you're late..nak dijadikan cerita, after we checked-in we all took breakfast dekat foodcourt..between foodcourt and departure gate is quite far which took us about 15 minutes walking distance..so agak semput jugak la berjalan kaki..okay-okay..back to the story, punya la we all asyik berborak sesambil makan nasi lemak yang sedap itu, we all pon menjeling ke arah jam..dalam hati "ooo, lagi 45 minutes sempat lagi ni.." tanpa memikirkan yang we all ni naik flight bukan naik bus, we all pon decided nak perform solat subuh dulu then baru nak pegi ke gate..tetibe one of us terpandang dekat screen yang paparkan all flight's time.."eh,flight ke Kota Kinabalu dah final call la!!" we all pon ape lagi tak sempat nak ke surau terus patah balik berlari-lari ke depature gate..tak sempat la we all nak solat subuh..ish.ish...dah la I dengan bawak baby lagi..memang Watson Nyambek pon boleh kalah kalau lumba dengan I during that time..hehehe..memang tak boleh lupe la..

Errmm...actually intention ke Sabah bukanlah nak holiday sangat pon but more to visit our relatives and also tok wan yang dah tak berapa sihat..most of the time we stay at wan's house helping her buat kuih and kemas apa-apa yang patut..kesian jugak tengok wan..tak menang tangan, manakan nak buat kuih lagi, jaga tok wan lagi, masak lagi, kemas rumah lagi..but I kagum la dengan dia..she can do all those work without complaining penat and what not..if I was in her place tak tau la nak macam mana..by the way, wan sangat expert buat kuih traditional like kuih puteri sebilik, kuih akok, kuih koci (This is my favorite and I like it so much!! sangat sedap la wan..) and macam-macam lagi la..I think if I stay dekat rumah wan lagi lama boleh di pam-pam la jugak badan ni..hehehe..wan memang ambil tempahan kuih dekat Kota Kinabalu..most of her customer are VIPs, Hotels and restaurants..but lately ni wan kurangkan ambil order because of tok wan's condition..

During our four days in Sabah, we just went out for only one day jer..so during that 'one day' was compact with visiting our aunties and went to buy some survinour for my family back in Kuala Lumpur..We went to Philipine's market and stopped by at few stalls that sell keronsang,bracelet, necklace which made by pearl..mutiara sangat sinonim dengan Sabah kan..I don't really know how to differentiate between genuine pearl and the fake one because they really look a like..one that I knew is yang fake tu senang nak tertanggal kulit dia..does anyone know how to differentiate genuine and fake pearl?? One more thing I pon tak tau why they call it Philipine's market instead of Kota Kinabalu market ke..I guess maybe there's a lot of Philipinoes thar are working there..sempat juga I membeli Philipine's sweet mango..manis!!!

All in all, memang best sangat dapat visit Sabah, and since this year will be my hubby's turn celebrating Hari Raya with his family, he's deciding to celebrate in Sabah!! semangat sungguh mr hubby sampaikan balik jer KL terus purchased ticket sebab nak ticket murah..I just pray that I can balik raya for this year..I will work on it since this year is the first Hari Raya with Emir Faiz..Ibu will berusaha dapatkan cuti for you!!


Okaylah..Emir dah nangis tu nak susu..panjang pulak entry kali ni..hee...pen off..

The Waterlily..

Last night me and my hubby had dinner at The Waterlily Cafe..The place located at Puchong IOI business park..Ermm..eventhou we're staying in Puchong for quite sometimes, me and my husband just realized dengan kewujudan restaurant ini...but I think the word 'cafe' it's not really suitable for this place sebab it will make people confuse tentang concept restaurant ni..reason nyer akan dijelaskan di bawah..huhuhu

The reason why I said the word 'cafe' is not appropriate to be used here because normally when we mention about cafe we all will think it must be like another Kopitiam but this place is not Kopitiam at all!! It is a restaurant..Maybe I should voice it out or talk to the manager perhaps?!!..hahaha..tetibe emo plak I ni..

Talking about the restaurant, I like the atmosphere in and out of this restaurant..Upon entering the restaurant, sights of chefs grilling steaks can be seen. The atmosphere is gentle and warm, dim orange lights create a relaxing and romantic feeling throughout the establishment. The walls are fully hung with various newspaper articles recommending this restaurant.

Food choices are mainly divided into light snacks, mixed grills, nasi lemak and pasta. Steaks are prepared in Balinese style, similar to those in Bumbu Bali, another Bali oriented restaurant that serves excellent Western food. As for me I chose BBQ chicken wing served with potatoes and for drink I've ordered Green Apple Splash..I like my drink so much!!

Mr Hubby has ordered BBQ Lamb Grilled..served with gravy (sangat sedap!) and coselow and a slice of watermelon..

Emir was sleeping while we're eating..boleh makan dengan tenang nyer...hehehe

All in all, this restaurant boleh di kategorikan okay la..next time boleh datang lagi and nak try order yang lain pulak..
